Car Accident in Chehalis: Two Injured; Second Driver Sought

Two cars were involved in an accident in Chehalis Monday night, causing one vehicle to roll down an embankment and strike a tree. Police are asking for help in identifying a second driver who apparently caused the incident.


A light blue car heading eastbound on Chilvers Road reportedly crossed the center line, causing the other driver to swerve and leave the roadway. Fortunately the passengers did not sustain major injuries.

The occupants of the vehicle should immediately report the collision involving the "phantom" driver to their insurance companies under their "UIM" or "un/underinsured" motorists' coverage.
